LPM II Particle Monitor
The LPM II particle monitor detects the degree of contamination in the measured fluid in 8 channels and provides a more accurate and complete definition of the particle sizes in compliance with international standards. The measurement data are either presented on the display as a contamination class according to ISO 4406:1999, NAS 1638, AS 4059E and ISO 11218 or as the number of particles per particle sizes.
The LPM II has been specifically developed for the continuous monitoring of the hydraulic systems. As it is permanently installed into the system, it allows users to react quickly to increasing contamination and so to protect the system against costly stoppages and reduce machinery downtime.
OCS Oil Condition Sensor
Real-time system monitoring - Oil condition sensors detect the condition of fluids in real time and allow oil changes when necessary
The demand for effective solutions to monitor hydraulic and lubricant systems is constantly increasing. Oil condition - or the result of the natural aging of the substance, decomposition of additives and contamination by foreign particles - is therefore the significant factor in determining the optimal point in time for an oil change. Changing the fluid too early generates unnecessary costs; changing it too late increases wear within the system and can lead to component failures and therefore even higher costs.
OCS oil condition sensors from Stauff determine the actual condition of hydraulic fluids and lubricating oils in real time, subject to all the criteria mentioned above. The sensors enable service and maintenance personnel and production managers to carry out complex and cost-intensive oil changes as and when required by the actual condition of the fluid, and not based on speculation or statistical maintenance schedules. This increases the availability and productivity of machinery and systems, reduces potential environmental pollution and reduces operating and maintenance costs for the system throughout its entire operating life.
OCS oil condition sensors are designed for permanent installation in hydraulic and lubricating oil systems and, thanks to their robust construction and stainless steel housings, can even be used under extreme conditions with temperatures from -20°C to +120°C. They are suitable for use at operating pressures of up to 20 bar.
The optional OCD oil condition display unit shows the values measured by the sensor using a multi-segment LED indicator, which makes the oil condition apparent at a glance and without any connection to a PC. The display unit also has integrated measurement value memory, from which the data can be subsequently transferred for assessment via USB.
Series PT-RF Pressure Transmitter and Reader
Maintenance free wireless RFID technology
The PT-RF series of pressure transmitters are an alternative solution for universal pressure measurements for fluid technology applications, which will provide benefits for system operators, maintenance personnel and repair technicians as well as for original equipment manufacturers.
The pressure transmitters from the PT-RF series are integrated into fluid technology plants and systems permanently or temporarily using the appropriate process connection adapters. The energy required for a measurement is transferred to the pressure transmitter via the antenna of the reading device using wireless RFID technology. This means that the pressure transmitters require neither internal nor external power supply and are completely maintenance-free. Measurements can be carried very easily, without extensive training and within a few seconds at the press of a button and then documented in a reliable process.
The advantages resulting from the use of the new technology for system operators, maintenance personnel and repair technicians are clear: Measurements can be carried very easily, without extensive training and within a few seconds at the press of a button and then documented in a reliable process .
NRC Noise Reduction Clamps
STAUFF NRC type clamps were designed for the noise and vibration reducing installation of pipes and tubes with the most common outside diameters between 6 and 42 mm and ¼ to 1 ½ inch respectively. The working principle is based on clamp bodies a made from Polypropylene (colour: black) following the Standard Series according to DIN 3015 (part 1) with a specially shaped, two-part elastomer insert b, which mechanically absorbs vibrations in the pipe and as a result reduces noises arising to a minimum.
The insert is in particular distinguished by how little of its surface is in contact with the pipe and clamp body, and as a result is far more effective than the previously known solutions. The tongue-groove contour of the insert and body, which is reversed and thus diverges from DIN 3015, enables the system to be used for the widest possible range of pipe diameters per clamp size, which contributes to flexibility and versatility.
STAUFF NRC Clamps are completely compatible with the commonly used steel and stainless steel mounting hardware c, and if necessary can simply be replaced or retrofitted.STAUFF also provides an alternative version d especially for use in safety-critical areas, which is made completely out of flame resistant materials according to international standards and directives, and meets the demanding requirements with regards to preventive fire protection.
